Web Writing
In the Summer of 2025, I was lucky enough to have interned at Global News Vancouver for three weeks. Going through everything in the newsroom from editing, writing for radio, writing for tv, web writing and shadowing the on site reporters. I am so grateful for every opportunity I had in my time there, being able to see how the news is produced and put together was incredibly interesting. While I was web writing I was lucky enough to have three stories published.
Brock Boeser resigned in Vancouver, after much speculation in the off season. I got to watch the press availability and summarize his feelings on the signing.
While trying to give me a range of different articles, I was able to write about First Responders warnings to Grouse Grind goers.
I was able to do a recap on where the village of Lytton was four years after a tragic wildfire blew through their community.
